Evergreen Museum Wedding in Baltimore, Maryland | MD Wedding Photographer
Kate + Travis
Kate and Travis tied the knot at the gorgeous Evergreen Museum and Library in Baltimore, Maryland. This historic venue in the heart of Baltimore is perfect for an elegant, outdoor wedding, and I loved all of the beautiful spots we were able to visit for portraits. Kate and Travis were incredibly generous with time on their beautiful day for portraits, and I can’t tell you all enough how thankful I was for that. Because we built a good amount of time in their timeline for portraits, they got so many amazing memories captured and will always be able to look back on their day and just remember how happy everyone was and remember that this was the best day ever!
I loved the mismatched bridesmaids’ dresses in shades of mauve, purple and gray, as well as the leafy bouquets from Willow Oak Flower and Herb Farm. Kate looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful, flowy dress from Wtoo by Watters that she picked up from Betsy Robinson’s Bridal Collection in the area.
When Kate and Travis initially reached out to me about photographing their Evergreen Museum wedding, I could tell that this couple was going to be really fun to work with. They met in Pennsylvania in college through a mutual friend, and I love this story, but Kate told me that Travis had, at some point, snuck his phone number into her phone the night they met. Kate and Travis instantly hit it off, had their first kiss on a tennis court (he played tennis in college), and moved to Baltimore together.
They now live in the city, go to baseball games on the weekends, and spend time exploring new places together. Kate and Travis got engaged in Aruba while on vacation. Travis took Kate on a walk down the beach and while they were standing out on a pier, Travis got down on one knee and asked Kate to spend the rest of his life with him.
In the fall last year, we met up in Baltimore for their engagement photo session at Fells Point, and despite it being probably the windiest day of the year, we had a blast! We laughed; we walked around their city while being blown all over the place and having to pick leaves out of our hair. Kate and Travis pointed out some of their favorite places to go together, and it was so fun for me to just see the two of them together and get know them a bit better.
I am so incredibly happy for these two; they are best friends and just perfect for each other. Their wedding day was such a great reflection of them and their love, and it was amazing to see how they were surrounded by so much love and support.

Enjoy some of my favorites from this sweet Evergreen Museum wedding; I absolutely loved it and feel just so honored to have been a part of their celebration!
I loved this gift that Kate received; it will be such a fun thing to hang in their home to show maps of where they met, where they got engaged, and then where they got married.
Such a fun and fresh color palette!
It’s time for the first look!
These two are amazing! We had fun during their engagement session, so I knew we’d have fun again during bride and groom portrait time!
We had to do a little recreation of some images from their engagement session, too! These rustic doors on the property were amazing!
A definite favorite!!!
The Evergreen Museum is absolutely beautiful, and a historical library!
Kate’s dress was perfect for twirling!
The architecture was stunning; it was a must to incorporate into their portraits!
One of my favorite images ever!!!
Kate and Travis’ wedding party was so fun to hang out with!
I mean, aren’t these flower girls just the sweetest?!
Travis’ brother (and best man) officiated their ceremony.
Their ceremony was so sweet; they both wrote their own vows and shared what they loved about each other. They definitely weren’t the only ones in tears!
WHOO! They’re married!
I loved their simple, yet elegant, decor for their reception. The lush greenery, gold, white, and wood elements were beautiful!
Kate’s parents actually MADE this beautiful wooden table for them to sit at during their reception. How special is that?!
I love a good photo guestbook! 🙂
What a perfect day and a perfect night.
Kate and Travis, thank you again for inviting me to be a part of one of the most important days of your life! Congrats to you both!
