Pretty in Purple Styled Wedding at Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia
Spring Wedding Inspiration
Earlier this year, I teamed up with a talented group of wedding creative professionals to put together a styled wedding shoot to inspire brides planning their big days! I came across Great Marsh Estate, a new wedding venue, in Bealeton, Virginia on Instagram and began following along as their team prepared to open the venue to the public and for events. From the moment I saw the beautiful venue, I just knew that I wanted to plan an inspiration shoot on the gorgeous property!
When sitting down to dream up the vision and plan for this shoot, I wanted to utilize Pantone’s Color of the Year, Ultra Violet. It is such an under-utilized color in wedding design, so I wanted to incorporate pops of the rich hue throughout the design. We also used hand-painted elements, like the hand-painted acrylic signage featuring a sweet, romantic quote, as well as a hand-painted floral cake by Amanda of Sorby Sweets.
Our shoot was just featured on Every Last Detail, so I am so excited to finally share more of my favorites from it! Check out the feature HERE!

The tree-lined driveway is probably my favorite part of Great Marsh. It’s so Southern-inspired and the way the light peeks through there….ahhhh, it’s just magical!
